The Season of Lent at Good Hope
A time when we focus on the glorious gift of salvation through the blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. During Lent, we remember the sacrifice of our Lord and gather in special worship services to affirm our faith in Jesus as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Ash Wednesday
The Beginning of Lent
March 5, 2025 - 7:00-7:45pm. A curb-side service. There is no need for you to leave your vehicle. Drive up to receive a blessing and the sacred sign of The Cross.

Midway Methodist. Church - 6:00-6:45pm. This year, we are partnering with Midway Methodist. Church to offer a Curbside Ash Wednesday Service, providing a meaningful opportunity for our community to begin the Lenten season in prayer and reflection. All are welcome to drive up and receive ashes and a prayer of blessing. May this be a time of renewal, repentance, and grace as we prepare our hearts for the journey to Easter.

As we begin the season of Lent, we pray, fast and reflect on our sinfulness and the holiness of Christ.

Good Friday
Remember Jesus' Death
IT IS FINISHED
April 18, 2025 - 6:00pm

We mourn and celebrate the death of Jesus.
We mourn because our sins became his death.
We celebrate because Jesus loves us so much that HE was willing to be the Sacrificial Lamb for our sins.
Palm Sunday
Jesus' Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem
April 13, 2025
We celebrate Jesus' arrival in to Jerusalem as we shout Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest.

As a congregation, we will place bags for the homeless on the altar, remembering the least of these and the children will wave the palm branches, rejoicing in Jesus' arrival.
